Private Label, OEM, and ODM — What's the Difference?

• Private label — you take a defined product and put your own brand on it. The specification is largely set.
• OEM — you bring your own design or formulation and we manufacture it to your instruction.
• ODM — you need a product developed for you. We help define the specification, then manufacture it.

We work across all three, but our strength is the custom end: OEM and ODM projects where the fiber, grammage, and cut are built around your brief.

What You Can Customise

• Fiber / blend — lyocell, viscose, bamboo, cotton, blends, bio-cellulose selection
• Grammage — 20–60 GSM, specified to your target feel and cost
• Shape — full face, ear loop, half face, under-eye, neck, hand, foot, or full custom die-cut
• Cut details — eye / nose / mouth openings, slits, ear loops, laminated backings
• Texture — plain, embossed, perforated, pearl-dot
• Color — natural or dyed to your Pantone / lab-dip
• Packaging format — rolls, flat stacks, cut blanks on your stacking pattern

MOQ Tiers

We structure minimum order quantities by production stage, so you can start small and scale:

• Sample / swatch — Free swatch set; cut sample against a small tooling fee where a new die is needed.
• Trial order — 1,000 sheets (≈ 50 kg of roll, depending on width). Designed so first-time buyers can validate the specification before committing.
• Full production — 10,000 sheets (≈ 500 kg of roll). Volume pricing kicks in at this tier.

If your volume is below a tier, ask anyway — the trial-order tier exists precisely so first-time buyers can test the specification before committing.

Sampling Process

1. Brief — you send fiber, GSM, size, shape, color, and quantity target (a reference photo helps).
2. Swatch — we send a fabric swatch set so you can feel the material before committing.
3. Cut sample — we produce a cut sample to your shape; a new die carries a one-time tooling cost.
4. Approval — you sign off the physical sample. That sample becomes the retained production reference.
5. Bulk run — production starts against the approved sample.

Production & Quality Control

• In-line checks on grammage, width, and cut accuracy
• Retained reference sample from every approved run
• Batch traceability by order number
• Pre-shipment inspection before export packing

Lead Time

• Swatch dispatch: 5 working days after brief confirmation
• Cut sample: 15 working days after swatch sign-off (plus a one-time tooling fee where a new die is required)
• Bulk production: 30 working days from approved sample, subject to Q4 and Chinese New Year scheduling

Two schedule constraints to plan around: Chinese New Year (production slows for roughly three weeks around late January to mid-February) and the Q4 peak, when capacity books up well ahead of the holiday selling season. Place spring and holiday orders early.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I order a small first batch?

Yes. We would rather you test the specification on a trial order than commit to a large run you cannot sell through. Tell us your real target volume and we will work to it.

Do you produce the filled, packaged mask too?

Our core production is the fabric and the cut blank. If you need filled and packaged finished masks, we can supply the blanks to your filling partner. We do not currently offer in-house finished-mask filling.

Who is responsible for compliance — the brand or the factory?

For cosmetic finished products, regulatory responsibility sits with the brand placing the product on the market — for example EU CPNP notification or US MoCRA registration. As the fabric supplier we provide the material documentation you need to file; the registration itself is the brand's. We will tell you exactly which documents we issue.

How is price set?

By fiber, grammage, shape complexity, and order volume. Send a specification and we will quote against it — we do not publish a flat rate card because the range is too wide to be meaningful.
